Tammy has experience in virtually all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, paternity, child support, adoption, spousal maintenance, child protection, property distribution, financial distribution, debt distribution, pension and retirement, protection orders, and harassment restraining orders.

In addition, Ms. Shefelbine is an experienced mediator in resolving family disputes.  She has also assisted parents as a parenting time expeditor and as an early neutral evaluator. 

While attending law school in St. Paul, Tammy served as a law clerk for the Children’s Law Center of MN, Ramsey County Attorney’s Office and Hennepin County Attorney’s Office.  She also served as judicial law clerk to Judge Lawrence Agerter and Judge Joseph F. Chase.  After graduating, she served as associate attorney at two other Rochester law firms. 

Prior to joining Dunlap & Seeger, P.A., she served as an associate attorney for the Olmsted County Attorney’s Office.
