John Beatty is an attorney in the firm's Litigation group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of complex business litigation, insurance litigation and construction litigation. John represents a variety of clients, both plaintiffs and defendants, including individuals, corporations, municipalities, and insurance companies.
He's handled claims involving enforcement of non-compete agreements, shareholder disputes, unfair competition, trade secret protection, defamation, fraud and misrepresentation, deceptive trade practices, and contract disputes. John also represents homeowners and contractors engaged in construction defect claims and various other litigation issues.
John was born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota. He served as editor of the University of St. Thomas Law Review from 2002-2004.
