Kari focuses her practice on estate and tax planning for individuals.  She represents fiduciaries concerning trust and probate administration.

She also advises employers on various employee benefits matters and employment issues.  She works with employers in designing and implementing employee benefit welfare plans, handling discipline and termination issues, and reviewing and designing employment contracts and policies.

Kari has extensive experience in the areas of probate, commercial, and employment litigation.  She is experienced with all forms of dispute resolution from arbitration, mediation and negotiation, to litigation in federal, state, and appellate courts.

While earning her law degree, Kari served on the North Dakota Law Review Board from 1997-1998 and was selected as a national member of the Order of Barristers in 1998.

She served as a law clerk to Justice Carol Ronning Kapsner of the North Dakota Supreme Court from 1998 to 1999.  Before joining Dunlap & Seeger, P.A., she worked as an Assistant Burleigh County State’s Attorney in Bismarck, North Dakota, prosecuting juvenile and adult offenders.

Kari is a member of the Board for Rochester Area Habitat for Humanity, and the Board of PossAbilities, Inc.  In addition, she is a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
