Turf field at Super Bowl central to business dispute

As most Minnesota residents know, the Super Bowl is this weekend, the ultimate game of the NFL season (and yet again the Vikings won't be there, but let's not talk about that). The Super Bowl will be played at MetLife Stadium just outside of New York, which is notable because the game will be played outdoors in cold weather. Usually the Super Bowl is played in Miami or San Diego or some other warm weather city. MetLife Stadium's role in the championship game makes this Super Bowl unique.

Minnesota: Business planning is an ongoing process

When considering the formation of a business, there are many things that one must take into account. Target market, overheads and premises may be the first things that spring to mind during the initial stages of business planning. One might think that, once the business is up and running, no further planning is required; however, the opposite is true whether the business will trade only in Minnesota or plans to spread further afield.

Original 'Walking Dead' showrunner files suit against AMC

Many residents in Rochester, Minnesota are fans of the TV show "The Walking Dead," a drama about zombies that was adapted from a comic book. It is the most watched drama in the history of basic television, and roughly 16.1 million people watched the season premiere in October 2013. However, for all the success "The Walking Dead" has garnered, it has had a rocky off-set life.

Initial steps of business formation are absolutely vital

One of the myths about creating or running a new business is that all you need is a good idea. Sure, that helps -- but the logistics of actually operating the company after that "good idea" is realized is just as important. Your idea could be the next Facebook or Twitter, in theory. But if you don't follow the rules; implement the right strategies and plans; and prepare yourself for the legal rigors of running a business, your company may turn into the next MySpace.
