Mike was the youngest of three kids growing up and always enjoyed studying. He decided to attend law school and found he had a talent for the work, particularly trial advocacy. After graduating, he served as a clerk for a bankruptcy judge and had the opportunity to travel one week a month around the country to help other dockets. He learned a lot during those two years and realized he wanted to continue working in bankruptcy.
Mike has been a United States Chapter 7 Trustee since 1991 in addition to his legal work in business transactions. In the last three to four years he has focused solely on the Trustee office.
At home, Mike makes outstanding wood-fired pizza and is an avid wood-worker. Mike enjoys endurance sports such as marathons and adventure racing. He has previously served on various boards including the Greater Rochester Area University Center, the OMC Board of Trustees, Family Services Rochester, and the Boy Scouts.
