Paul has been practicing law for over 40 years and has extensive expertise in bankruptcy representing lenders, other creditors, individual and business debtors, as well as serving as a Chapter 7 trustee. He also focuses his practice on real estate, foreclosures, repossessions, collections and asset protection and estate planning. Paul is a Shareholder with Dunlap Seeger.
Paul has been selected as a Leading Minnesota Attorney in the areas of bankruptcy and workouts and in agricultural and natural resources law. He was appointed to the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee Panel by the U.S. Department of Justice and is a U.S. Small Business Administration 504 Loan Program Designated Closing Attorney. He has made presentations for continuing legal education and to banks, credit unions and other lenders.
Paul is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, Juris Doctor, cum laude, a graduate of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Arts and a graduate of Rochester Community College with an Associate in Arts. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Olmsted County Bar Association, National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and an affiliate member of the Minnesota Bankers Association. Paul has volunteered and currently serves or has served on boards including Eastwood Bank, F & B Community Bank, Rochester Area Economic Development, Inc., City of Rochester Zoning Board of Appeals, Dyslexia Institute of America (The Reading Center), PossAbilities of Southern Minnesota and has served as president and elder at Resurrection and Life Evangelical Lutheran Church.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys playing golf, reading, studying history, traveling and following all Minnesota sports teams.
